Grants are considered for project which benefits the local community.

Last year, the following organizations received awards from the Axe Vale Show and all enjoyed a festive ceremony hosted by Steve Buxton at the Flamingo Pool, who said, “We are eternally grateful to the Axe Vale Show for awarding us funding this year and being able to maintain the Pool as a eco-friendly community facility is important.  We offer high standards or affordable exercise and rehabilitation for our local population.

The following organisations were awarded grants;

Flamingo Pool,

Axminster Heritage,

Cloakham Lawns Sports Centre,

Village Halls in Kilmington and Woodbury,

Chardstock Youth Club,

Hawkchurch and Kilmington Tennis Clubs,

Axminster and Lym Valley Scout Groups,

Axe Vale Netball Club,

Axminster Primary Academy,

 All Saints Wise Owls Pre-school,

Little Pips Toddler Group,

Marshwood School PFA,

Easy Read,

Axminster Gymnastics Club, Drama and Cricket Clubs,

Chardstock Park Trust, Chardstock Community Hall Trust,

Five Alive Duke of Edinburgh

 Kilmington & Hawkchuch Parish Council. 

Pledges were also made to Axminsters Counselling Charity Arc and Axminster Outdoor Bowls.
